Barcode registration makes it easier for customers and retailers to find your product and company through searching online for the barcode number or with the barcode scanning app. barcodes registration is another way to secure the barcode in the market. it also helps in preventing theft or accidental misuse of your barcode number. Moreover, you’ll have extra proof that barcodes are unique and belong to you.

Barcode registration is an optional service that we offer to increase the internet profile of your product generally. This service is entirely optional and is not essential for any barcode numbers as there is no central database for barcodes.

  1. To get the accurate results of your product at the event of scanning, we recommend you to use Zebra App, which is connected to our barcodes database. We can’t guarantee that your barcode will get recognize on any other app which doesn’t connect to our database.
  2. If a barcode is registered on internet databases, it can dissuade people from using the barcode number illegally on sites like Amazon. If a quick internet search tells the person that that barcode number is in use, they will be much less likely to use the barcode. While people cannot legally use legitimately sold barcode numbers, if they are being used illegally, it is an extra hassle for the legal owner of the barcode number to follow this up. This can be easily avoided with barcode registration.

We don’t charge the Barcode registration fee with our barcode packages. Hence, this should only be purchased if you have acquired a barcode outside of a barcode package. Anyone who is buying barcode numbers should also purchase barcode registration, but we include it free in our barcode packages. If you have acquired barcode numbers from any other organization, then you will have to pay for the registration of barcode numbers.

Get better confirmation of ownership

When you get to the checkout page, enter your barcode numbers in the “enter your barcode number(s) here” box. If you have more than one barcode numbers, then separate each barcode number with a comma. We will then send you an email asking as a confirmation of you are the owner of the barcode numbers. When we receive evidence that you are the owner of the barcode numbers, then we will activate your barcode numbers for registration. You can also register your barcodes number in our database for your brand recognition.
